About The Position

Elementor’s growing product marketing team is looking to hire an experienced Market Research Specialist to help us stay ahead of the curve, develop our customer intelligence discipline, and basically write the book on the people who use Elementor. 

The role will revolve around 3 main pillars:

  • Developing Elementor’s user personas
  • Deep analysis of our competitors
  • Identifying business opportunities through ongoing research

Responsibilities

  • Design, perform and analyze qualitative research such as focus groups, interviews in order to get a better understanding of who our customers are
  • Design specific research methods such as surveys and questionnaires
  • Develop and maintain the persona model for Elementor
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify patterns and solutions, including surveys and focus group transcripts
  • Maintain a detailed image on Elementor’s competition, competitive edge, user persona, and differentiating features
  • Identify strategic business opportunities through deep market research
  • Garner a deep knowledge of the WordPress ecosystem as a whole, latest developments, new key players, etc

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, product marketing, market research, or similar.
  • Proven analytical capabilities, existing knowledge of statistics, and data analysis a plus.
  • A team player, experienced with working across different departments and disciplines (Marketing, product, BI, management)
  • Strong presentational skills and the ability to visualize data.
  • Experience with market intelligence tools (SimilarWeb, SEMRush, or equivalent)
  • In-depth knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys, etc)
  • Advise senior management on the best ways to use provided data.
  • Are able to operate independently across a set of cross-functional partners.
  • Have a background in SaaS, B2C, and or design software industry, experience with targeting SMB/mid-market is a plus.
  • Have excellent written and spoken English (Native speaker? Even better)
