About The Position

The Social Media Assistant (SMA) will assist the Social Media Manager in managing the comments, inbox messages, notifications as well as proactive outreach on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Hours are 4 hours a day, 5 days a week. Training will be provided and will end once the Social Media Manager is confident that the SMA can continue to work independently. This is a remote position with monthly in-office meetings in Ramat Gan.



Responsibilities

The SMA will work on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. 

Facebook: 

  • Reply to all comments & notifications on organic and promoted posts
  • Read and reply to “mentioned” posts
  • Messenger is managed by our support team and is not the responsibility of the SMA

Instagram:

  • Reply to all comments & notifications on organic and promoted posts
  • Reply to DM’s. Instagram DM is the responsibility of the SMA
  • Check DM’s daily especially for story mentions (as they expire in 24 hours)
  • Proactive outreach and engagement through industry hashtags
  • Write Instagram post captions

Twitter:

  • Reply to replies and tweet mentions
  • Reply to DM’s. Twitter DM is the responsibility of the SMA
  • Proactive outreach and engagement through industry hashtags


Requirements

  • Native English speaker
  • Experience with Business features of social platforms
  • Sense of humour
  • Design knowledge is a plus
  • WordPress knowledge is a plus
