Senior Backend Engineer - Cloud

Responsibilities

  • Solve diverse and complex problems of scale, performance, and availability
  • Take part in all development aspects from design to production 
  • Initiate and promote new ideas for continuous improvement of the product functionality
  • Learn new technologies to accommodate feature development requirements

Requirements

  • 5+ years of backend development experience
  • At least 3 years of experience working with Node.js
  • Experience with large scale production environments and microservices architecture
  • At least 2 years of experience working with Cloud infrastructure (AWS\GCP), Docker, Kubernetes & CI/CD tools
  • Production experience with both relational and NoSQL databases at scale
  • A disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance
  • Experience developing with the LAMP stack and/or in the WordPress ecosystem - advantage
  • Experience working with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana - advantage
  • Knowledge in networking, TCP/IP protocol, FW management - advantage
